CHINESE PHYSIOTHERAPY TUI-NA
Known as Tui-Na in Chinese This is a form of physical treatment method commonly used in traditional Chinese Medicine (or TCM for short) to treat a variety of diseases.
Based on the TCM's acupuncture meridians and point theories.
Tui-Na is particularly effective in treating the pain in the muscles and joints that results from sport injury, wear and tear. Chronic stress and other causes.
All massage therapies aid relaxation, but in addition to relaxing the muscles Tui-Na also manipulates Qi-flow to balance the underlying energy problems which are associated with stress.
Tui-Na therapy provides complete stimulation of the body's entire musculo-skeletal system, as well as all the internal organs.
As it balances Qi-flow the mind and emotions will also be affected. In practice I will work on certain parts of the patient's body using twenty or so different hand manipulations tecniques to adjust the body's physio-pathological condition with an aim of restoring the patient's total well-being.
